Hi Gillian
You can import the RSS feed of a Twitter search into Excel and filter more
easily there e.g. import the following under 'Data' < 'From Web'
http://search.twitter.com/search.atom?q=%23somesso
<http://search.twitter.com/search.atom?q=%23somesso>and
you'll see what I mean.
Social Mention also has a good RSS feed dump
