I hate to stick my neck out but having had 
problems with dentists for years (I had a 
1960s mangler who enjoyed burrowing into my 
teeth without pain killers) and gone through 
intravenous valium, followed by a dentist who 
claimed to deal with nervous patients and 
then sat me down with someone who was 
uncommunicative, left the door to the 
corridor open and just bashed about 
half-heartedly, I've ended up at City Dental 
in Blatchington Rd. The turnover of NHS 
dentists is quite high but they've all been 
good; some have been very good. And believe 
me, I'm not an easy patient. They've got a 
stupid big telly in the waiting room but you 
can't have everything.
