Picasa allows you to resize batches of images to a maximum dimension - just select all the images you want, choose export and then select the maximum dimension size - really simple to use and handily manages all your images too.

Hi,
I have a client who'd like to resize images before uploading them to
their site. Some of them are very large and would take an age to upload
before resizing (and some are bigger than the upload limit on the
server.)
Up to now, they've been using Ifranview to resize them, but they find it
a very hard program to get on with. Can anyone recommend a cheap or free
Windows app that will let them take in a photo, resize it down for the
web, and save it, which has got quite a nice interface?
NB: Photoshop's too expensive, and using the GIMP would be using a
sledgehammer to crack a nut, plus I'm not sure they'd find GIMP any more
usable than Ifranview.
Thanks very much
Paul
