I run Tiger 10.4.11 on Powerbook G4 1Ghz, 2Gb RAM perfectly fine,  
plays WoW acceptably and is a-ok for office apps and video etc. iMovie  
6 is fine to use. For a 100 quid, that old iMac sounds fine.
