I think you'll be lucky to get anything for 'consequential loss' tbh :-(

Assuming you've got backups (!) have you considered renting a machine for a
week or two until it sorts itself out - there was a discussion on this on
here last week iirc.

Briefly,

the courier company that took my MacBook away 
to be repaired have lost it/let it get 
stolen. I'm going to provide them with 
details of the machine/memory upgrade and 
installed software for the insurance claim 
but its absence affects me in other ways. 
There are web sites I can't update and work I 
can't do until I get a replacement.

Anyone else been in this situation? I suppose 
I'm trying to discover if claims like this 
can include a 'lost earnings' element and how 
you go about demonstrating it.
