[BNM] insurance claim

Hi Rob,

To demonstrate loss of earnings your insurance company will want quite a
lot of information, such as accounts reports from this financial year
and the previous financial year which demonstrate the loss, copies of
orders/contracts you have been unable to for fill and evidence of
deadlines you have missed etc...

Note that if you extend a claim to loss of earnings it could take rather
a long time to get a full payout. We had an incident over 2 years ago
which involves claiming for loss of earnings and it looks like we might
get a payout in a month or two...

Subject: [BNM] insurance claim

Briefly,

the courier company that took my MacBook away
to be repaired have lost it/let it get
stolen. I'm going to provide them with
details of the machine/memory upgrade and
installed software for the insurance claim
but its absence affects me in other ways.
There are web sites I can't update and work I
can't do until I get a replacement.

Anyone else been in this situation? I suppose
I'm trying to discover if claims like this
can include a 'lost earnings' element and how
you go about demonstrating it.
