I ended up phoning Consumer Direct who were very helpful and suggest that I
send the company a formal letter giving them 7 days to refund and then
threaten small claims proceedings.

Just after I had spent 30 minutes drafting a letter and printing it out I
recieved an email out of the blue from their payment gateway notifying me of
the refund (FINALLY!).

Moral of the story is, dont use www.furnituredealuk.net
