[BNM] Mac upgrade of sorts

it were me, I would do the following:
backup my files to an external disk
reformat the internal drive
re-install Tiger 10.4 and all updates
put my essential files back
buy a new battery
Leopard will run slower than Tiger on that Mac
Cost: 1 battery
