For some reason it reminds me of that Sarah Silverman song/video about her and Matt Damen. It's no garageband.

I reckon I'll have a go as my kids are singing now. 

I thought there was a technique that you could use to make the vocals follow the song rather than the song follow the vocals. I think I last saw it on the gadget show where they did a challenge to produce a low and high budget song. Does songsmith work if you can't stay in key or is it following your pitch all over the place? Soon find out!
