I only see the benefit of downloads if I don't want the whole album, if I do
then I'll buy the CD every time (copying it straight away to my computer as
I find I only have to look at CDs for them to give up on me) there's not a
great deal of saving to be made on whole Albums.
I use Itunes as it's too damn easy, I just run DRM dumpster every now and
then.
The real benefit I have found with downloads is with music I was buying to
dj with. I used to pay up to 15 quid for a vinyl EP and perhaps only like
one track on there, now I only pay for the track I want and only pay 1.50
for it, plus with 6000 records in my studio I'm pleased not to be adding to
that number.
