[BNM] Sonar festival hints and tips

Anyone been to Sonar festival before? I'm considering going.

Whilst looking at the event map where all the action is it occurred to
me that Barcelona is a masisve city so getting from a-b could be
challenging.

I considered getting accommodation near to the events. Is this
possible to do on the cheap? I was looking at hotels near the sea, but
this eems some way away from the action.

Any survival/pre booking hints and tips would be much appreciated.
