Subject: [BNM] Linux Based Multimedia Handhelds
Hi list,
I'm writing a proposal involving handheld devices capable of
displaying multimedia content. We have the Windows Mobile/Apple
devices covered, but I'm just wondering wether there's some good,
inexpensive, linux based device out there that I'm missing.
It needs to be:
- touch screen,
- powerful enough to play audio / display video,
- we need to be able to develop for it easily (ideally using Qt),
without any unofficial hacking involved
I'm thinking something like the Archos 705, but more open.
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe.
