[BNM] Noise isolation methods for windows

You could add secondary glazing? (in addition to your double glazing).

A few years ago I lived in a flat on a very busy A road. I added secondary
glazing with extra thick glass. It insulated the noise very well. I also
added thick curtains as noise travels at different frequencies - it's good
to use a variety of materials with different densities.

Only cost effective if you own rather rent short-term... Another alternative
is to cut some thick insulation board (from Wickes for example) to fit your
window. And fit this into the window every night.

Good luck.

cheers,
Andy
