I know there are some cyclists on the list - does anyone know if it's easy to get from Henfield to Ashurst by heading east and using footpaths to cross the river and save going up to Shermanbury and Partridge Green? I've got a heavy bike and a dodgy knee and don't want to be manhandling it over loads of stiles, etc. ta rob
