Hi
I just signed up to dreamhost for a new domain and 22 dollars for the first
year seemed ok.
I seem to be stuck in limbo with the gmail stuff.
I'm trying to get gmail to look after the email.
So apparently it was all set-up
If I go to
http://mail.mydomain.com then indeed it does send me over to a gmail login.
So the subdomain redirection is working!
If I try to login I get, login failed.
so if I login to dreamhost webpanel
>>You need to *register at Google Apps* for your Domain if you haven't
already.
and say that I'm the admin owner I get:
This domain has already been registered with Google Apps. Please contact
your domain administrator for instructions on using Google Apps with this
domain.
So if I go to the next step:
*Create all the email accounts* you want over at Google Apps for your
Domain.
Then I can't login. Am I just trying too soon? It's been 24 hours?
I seem to be in a loop of not being able to login and not being able to
register my domain with gmail. As it looks to be registered that sounds
like it's OK.
I've looked at domains >>manage domains >>MX record stuff and this looks
right
mail MX 0 aspmx.l.google.com.
mail CNAME ghs.google.com.
sites CNAME ghs.google.com.
Custom mx/gmail
aspmx.l.google.com.
Any ideas? TRying to login as administrator and take ownership og my gmail
just doesn't work. I know it's me just not what I'm missing
