Alas its not a ring of death. Its a quarter ring of death. That and the error code relate to an AV cable issue. Alas I have tried numerous AV cables, with no joy. It's also been doing odd graphical weirdness recently, so I'm guessing its the gfx chip or the anna, hana,spanna chipset that has gone.

My RROD return just before Christmas was handled with one call and went
relatively smoothly. It might be worth another try, if only to have a spare
xbox or to sell 2nd hand when it comes back.
