Went pop how?  As far as i know the unlimited extended warranty on Red Ring
of Death xbox fails still applies.  So, if you're getting the RROD fill in
the form on their website and they'll fix/replace it (keeping the old hard
drive) for free.  They even pick it up from your house.

Even if you're not getting the RROD and it's died some other way it's worth
chancing it.
