Carbon fibre forks: hmmm yeah, they won't be bent but if they have been 
fractured, it's very hard to spot, and, of course, if they have been 
fractured you shouldn't use them, and unfortunately they can't be 
repaired either.

And while we discuss this misfortune  - anything bent or misaligned in 
*your* body?  And which was moving : the bike or the bonnet?  I hope you 
weren't injured!
