[BNM] Sharing a Vbulletin forum

Does anyone have any experience with VBulletin?

http://www.vbulletin.com/

I'd prefer to use something that better integrates with Wordpress but
the partner we are working with already has a forum up and running and
we'd like to share the database.

Anyone know if it's possible to share subsets of the database and have
two instances of the software serving up the forum to two different
sites?

Any technical problems with this?

Also, given it's possible, do you think it would confuse users? In
that case I guess a co-branded solution on another domain would be the
best option for both parties?

What do people think? Good idea? Bad idea?

m.
