Wayne,
Nice thinking :-) However, their customers have many agencies working on
link building campaigns for them so they need to prove the links they have
built.
Their customers get a tailored PDF report every week listing all the new
links for which they pay a fat premium!
p.s. I've found a product called buzzstream.com which is a CRM tool for SEO
agencies but not sure if it's overkill.
