I finally decided on the iphone 3gs 32 gig

Spent the best part of 4 months weighing up the pros and cons.

Find a friend who has the two phones and try them out. Its a very
personal choice.

For me the difference was:

- The memory and processor power is double what the old iphone. My
bros old iphone frustrated me how slow it was but now its speedy quick
flipping between apps and downloads
- Headphone socket so I can use my own headphones
- Screen size is a touch larger. Better for viewing video I think and
as a touch screen interface if you have big figers.
- Ui is very nice and intuitive to use
- Video is very good (very very impressed) and the camera is great too
- audio quality is very good
- camera good
- cost wise cheaper than my current tariff
- sync with my mac
- multi touch screen

I didn't have the confidence in the android platform as of yet. For my
first smart phone I just want a great utility that was easy and quick
to use. Give it until my contract runs out (17 months) and then I will
give android another look. Until then i am very pleased with my new
phone!
