Did you find the answer to this? MPEG4 has a very Quicktimeish container format, so it may be something masquerading as that. There's an Apple utility called dumpster that will allow you to appear inside files like this and find out which codecs are in use. http://developer.apple.com/quicktime/download/ cheers, Toby
