Subject: [BNM] single sign on portal / storing password?

Hello,

I'm possibly mixing a few things up here but does anyone have any useful
references/tips on creating a (web based) single sign on type thing. How,
for example, does facebook store my twitter details to allow me to post to
twitter via facebook. They're somehow storing my password and are able to
use it to post to the twitter api. Obviously they may be storing my
password but I suspect they're using some kind of two way encrpytion with
the encrypted password stored in a DB.

I just wanted to create a little app that did a few things for me and while
it's fine for a desktop app to store a password on a local machine (well
not fine) but what if I wanted to store other passwords in a DB.

Jas
