[BNM] Mod rewrite problem

I'm certainly no mod-rewrite expert but I don't think you need the www.studiopottery.co.uk in the second part.  I think it should just be:
 
RewriteRule ^/html/jennybeavan.html$ /potter_profile.php?id=39 [R,L]

I think the way you had it will mean it will be trying to redirect to:
 
http://www.studiopottery.co.uk/www.studiopottery.co.uk ( http://www.studiopottery.co.uk/www.studiopottery.co.uk )/potter_profile.php?id=39
 
and so will fail as it doesn't exist.

Got a little mod -rewrite problem, should work but does not.

trying to get
www.studiopottery.co.uk/html/jennybeavan.html 

to divert to
<http://www.studiopottery.co.uk/potter_profile.php?id=39&name=Jenny-Beavan%29>
www.studiopottery.co.uk/potter_profile.php?id=39 

got this in the .htaccess file in the /html directory

Options +followsymlinks

# Turn on the rewriting engine
RewriteEngine On

RewriteRule ^/html/jennybeavan.html$
www.studiopottery.co.uk/potter_profile.php?id=39 [R,L]

Does it work, does it hell. Just cant find the file and diverts to 404 and
then the home page.

Any help much appreciated.
