[BNM] Mod rewrite problem

Hi

Got a little mod -rewrite problem, should work but does not.

trying to get
www.studiopottery.co.uk/html/jennybeavan.html

to divert to
<http://www.studiopottery.co.uk/potter_profile.php?id=39&name=Jenny-Beavan%29>
www.studiopottery.co.uk/potter_profile.php?id=39

got this in the .htaccess file in the /html directory

Options +followsymlinks

# Turn on the rewriting engine
RewriteEngine On

RewriteRule ^/html/jennybeavan.html$
www.studiopottery.co.uk/potter_profile.php?id=39 [R,L]

Does it work, does it hell. Just cant find the file and diverts to 404 and
then the home page.

Any help much appreciated.
