[BNM] [OT] ish - which cpu?

if you're planning on running something other then windows I'd steer 
clear of AMD CPU based systems, though AMD has been opensource friendly 
(releasing docs, specs & errata), you'll likely end up with an nforce 
chipset mobo, nvidia only offer binary drivers for their kit & they're 
not that great, the other alternative is VIA chipset motherboards which 
are not all that.
Stick with Intel CPU + Intel chipset mobo.
