+1 for Wowo. There is a lovely pub if you walk across the fields and  
through the woods.

There is a huge field that hardly gets used if you drive through the  
first field, left and along the track, and then on your left past the  
'guinea pig toilets' (so called because my children believe there are  
guinea pigs living in them who eat your poo on account of the sawdust).
