Yes the copyright thing is the only sticking point - to use someone's words
without permission is, I guess, copyright infringement but we are in the
realms of journalistic quoting here - is there a different law that applies
here? Can he keep it up until legally instructed to remove it or has the act
of a request being lodged to remove it already taken it past that point? It
is a bit tricky.... but I am sure you agree, the readership (including their
client) needs to know about this outfit's nefarious practices - for the
integrity of the blogosphere (or has that gone already?)

You're probably opening yourself to a copyright infringement case and
potentially a libel suit to boot. They'll probably lose the libel, but
the copyright claim has more teeth, given the email even says:
"If you are not the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that any
dissemination, distribution or copying of this communication and its
contents is strictly prohibited."
There's no word on what happens if you are the intended recipient, in
which case the default, ie no rights, would be in effect. By all means
keep it up, but be aware you might get a solicitor's letter. :(
