anyone got any experience or opinions on the legality of this:

my friend and I both thought it was a good idea to make the post,  the
company in question have contacted him requesting that he removes all
reference to them and their client - does he have to? My thoughts are that
if someone offers you a bribe and tells you not to tell anyone then that is
not a confidentiality clause you are bound by....
