Hey Wayne,
Nothing beats owning something outright...not sure how car finance houses
(Lombard etc.), which are the end party you'll end up having the contract
with, are affected in their generosity by #creditcrunch. It makes sense if
you want a fixed cost per month for a motor (except petrol), including
servicing and repairs (go with the small additional monthly payment for all
servicing/repairs included). A larger upfront payment reduces your monthly
contract hire rate.
I've used Business Car Contracts in the past, based in Haywards Heath:

Hey
On the above, is it a good idea or bad? Has/does anyone do it? What is
a reasonable upfront fee, monthly cost? I'm thinking about doing it
but don't know anyone who does to get any feedback.
Cheers
