[BNM] [bnm] A Wordpress plugin for protecting against youtube deletions

Orrite chaps, I know it's only Friday (or whatever day it is) etc, but
I've got a question about dodgy video hosting.

The thing is this : I'm fed up with embedding videos in blogs etc, only
to have some fecker from youtube remove them over some bogus DMCA
accusation (or whatever) so I'm in the midst of writing a Wordpress
plugin that makes a backup of a video when you embedd it, so if the
original one disappears, you can just say "fuck you, fuck face" and
relink to it somewhere else.

That's the theory at least.

So I was idly wondering if anyone knows of any dodgy video serving site
(preferably with an API) that operates beyond the reach of the DMCA?

Some sort of streaming web-based p2p thing would be ideal, but I'm not
sure if such things exist.

Yes I'm aware of ethical arguments (having been on the PHO list for
around 8 years, during which time precisely nothing has been resolved)
but I'm on the side of The Internet. It's a massive experiment in AI...
and when people delete content that other people have linked to... well,
it's a bit like glue-sniffing isn't it. It's brain-damage.
