[BNM] CRM / Project Management Software REcommendation

Hello BNMers,
We're looking for a decent CRM package for 3+ remote users to manage our 
clients / work that includes an intuitive timeline based management 
interface for current clients / workload / projects / designers / 
developers - that can be viewed by year, month, week, day etc.
Ideally looking for something low cost or free (who isn't) but also 
happy to pay for the right package...
We have been using a crude xls spreadsheet to do this which is now 
getting a little over complicated, particularly when it needs to be 
shared between remote users, and particularly as our workload increases.
If anyone out there has any recommendations then they would be 
gratefully recieved.
