When you make them public, you should probably avoid making the links to
any referrers live links. I've seem traffic from bots using fake
referrers to gain links from public stats to their own sites.
Admittedly, probably not a problem with site stats that are gathered by
Javascript as I haven't seen any bots like that advanced enough to be
polluting Javscript gathered data.
