I propose the creation of NITE - national institute for terrorless
excellence.It would evaluate the cost of security per life saved using the
same formula as nice.
So far it looks like:
12 billion++ for ID cards
12 billion for uberdatabase
50 odd killed in that tube thing
24b/50 = 500,000,000 / life - a bit more than NHS, non?
On the plus side it's a good excuse to keep the unwashed less revolting.
And it's a great mark-up on MySQL.
