ok, I shan't bore you all with the details of the astonishing degree  
of fuck-uppery that BT have embroiled me in, my question is simple:


How do I speak to someone in BT who has a clue?


There have been several threads here in the past discussing how to  
appropriately 'escalate' one's relationship with BT to the point that  
you can actually speak to a human, what's the final verdict?
I really want to avoid losing half my week speaking to idiots, it  
makes me very tetchy...
