Good news for you .net types, indeed.  AWS EC2 stuff has been decent
value for UNIX stuff, I suspect the pricing will be the same as for
UNIX if they let you bring your own licenses.

Personally, I'd really like for the licensing costs to be factored in.
 That'd allow me to temporarily bring up windows instances for browser
testing, without having to have VMWare and large disk images around
(as suggested at http://simonwillison.net/2008/Oct/1/amazon/).

AWS has some other interesting stuff that might become more useful
within .NET now that it can be run in that environment - particularly
their queuing (SQS, I think ?) and SimpleDB stuff.
