Really pleased with the Advent 4211 - its identical to the MSI Wind,
and cheaper, but only available with XP.
I wouldn't want to go less than a 10" screen (1024x600) if you
actually want to do work on it. And the best thing is it has a
keyboard that is full width to the chassis - I believe its 94% full
size. I used it yesterday to take notes during 6 hours of user test
sessions, totally fine, nicer than my Vaio.
£280 from PC World with an 80Gb drive. Battery life 2 hours or so with
the 3-cell battery - I may upgrade to a 6-cell. Recommended.
