[BNM] Best Way to Organise Content for Pool of Writers

Hi
What's the easiest way to get a bunch of article topics to a group of
writers?

I'd like to add articles that I need written to a list to which I can give
certain writers access.  I'd like them to be able to, either take the
articles off the list, or somehow indicate they are in the process of
writing them so that the article doesn't get written twice. If they could
record the date taken and date finished that would be a bonus. I've tried an
excel file in GoogleDocs, without success. Any other suggestions?
