I've just started using Siege - http://www.joedog.org/JoeDog/Siege -
which lets you submit forms for benchmarking and load testing. It even
lets you submit file attachments in posts.
It's also got a sort of helper app called Sproxy which creates the
urls that you want to test (including get and post parameters).
I'm new to it so don't know how well it performs yet or what the
reporting is like but it seems pretty good from what I've read about
it. It's not for Windows though unless you're running cygwin I think.
