[BNM] [bnm] SEO, Tumblr, Posterous and whatnot

Orrite peeps. I know it's first thing in the morning and everything, but 
I have a bit of a query.


Apparently Tumblr isn't that good for SEO and until about 2 days ago you 
couldn't have comments....

...so as well as having a tumblr blog I've set up a posterous.com one as 
well.. and set posterous up so it auto-posts to tumblr because I just 
couldn't bear to let the tumblr one go, and the tumblr one has it's own 
built-in friend system etc, not that I have any.

Is this a good idea SEO-wise? Somewhere in the depths of my memory are 
vague notions that duplicate content is a bad idea for SEO... but I 
think this was intra-site duplication rather than inter-site... or have 
I got this wrong?

You can set posterous up to auto-post all over the place. You can spam 
yourself with your own content etc.
