[BNM] Wordpress eCommerce

The WP ecommerce plugin has very limited ecommerce functionality.

I use Zencart and have to carefully hack it to make changes. Architecturally
it's a fairly typical old-style PHP messy application which I'm quite
comfortable with hacking!

Zencart is widely supported, is mature and has a LOT of functionality. I
cannot find a better open-source alternative to switch to (I wish I
could)....

I've been testing alternatives for ages - the two best are:

1) Magento which is great but runs very very slow without an expensive
server.
2) Prestashop which looks great but is in beta (by this i mean proper beta -
not the google style of beta which is essentially a finished product!).

cheers,
Andy
