Non-fiction?

Do let them know, but - even better - get an agent, and get them to let
them know. Yup, you'll pay them some money, but literary agents (possibly
making them unique among agents) earn their money, as a rule. I know quite
a few, although mostly in the US - do you want UK based? As a rule, the
agent will gain you more money in better deals than you'll pay them.
