  /usr/local/php-5.2.4/php.ini-recommended

To:

  /usr/local/php-5.2.4/php.ini

However, if phpinfo() is reporting a different path, that's the one you
should use - i.e. copy one of the samples there!

Cheers
Leo

Subject: Re: [BNM] Where be the php.ini file?

Thanks Leo

Did: locate php.ini and it came back with

- /private/etc/php.ini.default
- /usr/local/php-5.2.4/php.ini-dist
- /usr/local/php-5.2.4/php.ini-recommended
- /usr/local/php-5.2.4/tmp-php.ini

Googling the lot to determine what each one is.

One final question. Why would my phptest.php say that my php.ini file
is in /usr/local/php5/lib?
