I can see it going to compost being a good thing (unless you end up with too
much like I do - from all the grass clippings!), but is it going to land
fill a bad thing?

Once the land fill is full, something will have to be done about the amount
of rubbish being generated... If our shopping didn't include the masses of
packaging that it does, then we wouldn't need so many plastic carrier bags
to transport it home....

And if the land fill is full of loads of organic matter rather than pure
nasties so much the better? - Hey fill them with earth and you wouldn't even
know they had been there :-)
