[BNM] Problem with PC freezing

I spent a long time trying to diagnose/fix random freezes in a x86 XP
box a while back
concluded that it had a faulty power supply,
delivering fluctuations in the current outside of the motherboards
acceptable limits
Some bios' allow you to monitor these variables along with things like
temp etc
