[BNM] Busted Hard Drive

I drunkenly dropped a 500GB SATA external hard drive and it just fires up
and clicks, that's all. I tried removing the enclosure and daisy-chaining it
into the PC, but the same thing happened. It's now in the freezer.

Has anyone else tried freezing a drive before? How long should I leave it in
there for? And if it doesn't work, short of paying for data recovery, does
anyone have any suggestions?
