[BNM] Gmail going a bit freaky deaky - someone save my sanity

As a follow my browser is working reacting much faster now I have
disabled the 'fire vox' and 'TTS' addons e.g. opening link from gmail
in a new tab could take up to 5 seconds, now its instant.

Any one know why this would be? Is it to do with AxsJAX? Will look
into it myself. Just wondered if anyone else had used this AxsJAX...
