[BNM] PC recommendations

Pretty much anything you buy is going to do the business especially if
you want to run xp. Remember XP would boot with I think 128 or 256 meg
of ram and a standard machine today has 2GB!
at the moment im using something akin to a Babbage difference engine
with a bit of linux scraped over the top and it flies. The new pc that
I'm running at work has 3 virtual machines (two xp and one Scientific
Linux on top of kubuntu linux) in 2GB ram. Its just crazy the power we
have now.
Even my Iphone is running what is pretty much a full BSD kernel.
The days of spending over a grand on a top of the range pc are just
gone even for designers
Unless you want to play games....or you like macs.
