[BNM] Website visual thoughts?

Thanks all for the feedback - it's very useful (anyone read Steve Krugs
'Don't Make Me Think'? main message i got was useability testing and
seeing as I don't have the budget to do it 'properly' this is a great
start - so thanks. again.)
Rob - good points about the middle items. the eye needs to be drawn
there easier so making them more visible is great feedback.
John - i agree about the basket & checkout feedback (but there's more
than one party involved in the decisions!) With the top 4 links we're
looking at having them as an addition to the browser bar (to link to
other jewellery sites of the same brand)... so they need to stay top top
(no margin at the top of the page, see altered visual if you can be
bothered!). header thought interesting too.
Mike - thanks - above the fold is good. are you thinking 1024 x 768 as
the fold?
