[BNM] Thunderbird is broke

Are you by any chance using the WebMail extension with the Hotmail bit 
added on? There appears to be a change that has happened at the Hotmail 
site that is preventing the extension working in "Windows Live site" 
mode. There is a fix for this at http://webmail.mozdev.org/whatsnew.html 
- you can see there "updated for site changes". I installed this and my 
mystery Thunderbird crashes went away. Alternatively, if your account 
works with it, switching to WebDAV works too
